Meet Veronica

Veronica is a holistic herbalist and the founder of Cedar & Clove, a ritual-based herb shop rooted in seasonal rhythms and plant-wisdom. Her journey into herbalism began in 2020 through the Family and Community Herbalist Program at Commonwealth Holistic Herbalism, a school devoted to accessible, science-informed herbal education grounded in care, curiosity, and community.

Blending traditional folk practices with modern understanding, and her background as a nurse, Veronica creates small-batch herbal teas and offerings that support the nervous system, honor the cycles of the Earth, and invite reconnection with self. Her work is shaped by motherhood, grief, earth stewardship, and a deep devotion to slow living.

Through Cedar & Clove, she shares organic, intentionally crafted blends that bring comfort, clarity, and ritual into everyday life. Whether sipped alone during quiet reflection or shared in ceremony, each cup is an invitation, to pause, and to listen.

Rooted in Passion, Grown in Community

What began as a humble passion for herbalism has blossomed into a heartfelt offering. A space where community, intention, and nature meet. Cedar & Clove is more than a tea company; it’s a growing garden of connection. Every blend is an invitation to slow down, listen to the wisdom of the earth, and remember that healing doesn’t have to be rushed.

Our process is guided by seasonality, reverence, and craft. From the way we formulate each blend to the stories we tell through our photography. Each image captures the spirit of the plants, the textures of our small-batch rituals, and the sensory experience we hope to pass on with every sip. We are endlessly grateful for the circle that continues to grow around these offerings, and for the beauty that emerges when we create with heart, from soil to steam.

You can find my handcrafted offerings at several local spaces that share in the ritual of slowness and sensory care. Cedar & Clove teas are available at Birch Botanical Spa, located in St Charles, where they accompany wellness treatments and seasonal events. You’ll also find a selection of teas and my organic herbal sourdough at Salon Turbo, located in New Town St Charles, and curated tea blends nestled within the cozy charm of Westoff Cottage OFallon Airbnb. Each location reflects the spirit of Cedar & Clove—community, connection, and tending to the everyday with intention.
